The Village Panchayat Parra is situated in the Bardez Tehsil (Taluka) of North Goa District. It is situated 4km away from sub district headquarters Mapusa and 15 km away from district headquarters Panjim. Asper the 2011 census the population is 4449, with 2174 male and 2275 female population. The Panchayat consist of 7 wards and has 7 elected representatives (male-4, female-3).There are 1067 households in all.
